Prevention of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum

Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is the most harmful fungal disease in rapeseed production in China and the world. Sclerotinia disease occurs at the seedling stage, red-brown spots appear on the base leaves and petioles, and the whole leaf will eventually rot when the adult leaves develop. The diseased spot in the stem is fusiform. In wet conditions, the lesion develops very rapidly and white mycelium grows above. In the late stages of disease, the stem and marrow were eroded and the stalks were easily broken. The severely ill persons died from the whole plant. Some of the diseased plants were dead or ripened earlier, and the seeds were not full, reducing the yield and oil content. When the rape grows too prosperous and lodging, the disease is even more serious. Sclerotinia is the first choice of anti-(resistant) disease varieties. The second is the implementation of "five no" measures. The seeds are not sterilized, the ground is not heavy, the slag is not returned, the fields are not waterlogged, and the fields are not shaded. Third, on the basis of changing crops for rotation, opening a good three-sewer, and reducing the humidity in the field, pesticides should be used for prevention and control. Spraying sclerotium net 1000 to 1500 times in the initial flowering stage and full flowering stage can play a good control effect.
